Dr Soji Soogun got his degree in medicine and surgery (MBBS) in 1995 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He became a Fellow of the South African College of Family Physicians (FCFP)-SA in 2003. In 2011 he obtained a certificate in Management Advance Program from the University of Wits, followed by a postgraduate Diploma in palliative medicine (PG Dip Pallmed) from the University of Cape Town in 2012. He is currently finalising his MPhil degree in palliative medicine at the University of Cape Town while also working at the WTTS hospice and the Gauteng Department of Community Safety. Dr Soogun is married and has 3 children.
